Whether
you are a new student who has just left high school or a returning student
looking for a new educational program to help you achieve your academic
goals, Tomorrow's Youth Today (TYT)'s ccged.org can help you in many ways.
Start here to learn about our GED programs. TYT is an open enrollment
education and employment program. That means that you don't have to wait until the
beginning of the regular school year or the end of the traditional semester to join our
program. You can be enrolled at any time during the year. And we don't take summers off
either. Our classes run during each month of the year. Pretests for new GED candidates are
scheduled every two weeks. If you're ready to start GED classes, contact
us online or
call (716) 893-3500.
All of our GED teachers are NYS Licensed and Certified Public Secondary
School Teachers. You can rest assured that we have the experience and knowledge
to help you gain the essential reading, writing and math skills needed to pass the GED.
One of the most unique aspects of the TYT program is that we are so very
flexible. We service all of Erie County. If you live too far away to attend one of our
GED classes, we will make sure that we provide you with a teacher to meet
with you on a regular basis at the nearest Erie County Public Library to
tutor you in a one-to-one capacity. We can even fit your tutoring sessions
around your schedule, especially if you have a job or special child care
needs.
Your decision to get your GED was a smart one. Joining TYT makes it even
better! The extra incentives of being enrolled in TYT make life a little bit easier
for all of our clients. Students receive an hourly monetary stipend for attending and studying for
their GED: you get paid for coming to class! Completing your optional
homework assignments is also rewarded. We provide bus tokens for those who
need assistance paying for public transportation. We provide job-readiness training and assist you in
finding employment. You can also qualify for a paid work experience in which you receive an
hourly wage while interning at a company in a career field that you're
interested in pursuing in the future.
But we won't stop there. The TYT program will assist you beyond GED test
preparation.
We can provide you with guidance concerning the next crucial steps to a
meaningful,
fulfilling career: special GED testing accommodations for those who
qualify, completing the GED application process and scheduling for the
test, college campus tours, college
application and financial aid form help, guidance for trade school
admissions, One Stop
Job Center or Career Development Center orientation assistance, resume
writing skills
development, practice job interviews, and much more.
Getting your GED at TYT is just the beginning! But it is the first step
toward opening up a world of vocational choices and the chance for a new
start in life.
