The staff of Catholic Charities' Department of Education and Workforce
Development would like to welcome you to our new website, www.ccged.org.
The website will be dedicated to familiarizing students, teachers, program
managers, school administrators, and interested people with the GED test
and our programs.
We are located in Buffalo, NY and have been providing GED preparation,
educational instruction, job readiness skills, employment assistance, and
life skills training to Erie County residents since 1975.
We are funded through federal grants through the Workforce Investment Act
(WIA), state grants through the New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL),
and a variety of other funding sources.
We hope to share our years of experience with all those interested in
finding out more about how to develop a GED prep program, teaching tips,
funding opportunities, new and innovative ways to reach your students, and
whatever else we may assist you with regarding our programs.
The website is in its infancy and will grow to be an interactive site
throughout the days and months ahead. So feel free to browse the site and
email any questions to us that you may have concerning the GED.
